Warriors' Jacob Evans Ruled Out Vs. Pelicans With Left Adductor Strain

Another game, another injury.

The Warriors got more bad news Monday when guard Jacob Evans was ruled out for the remainder of the game against the Pelicans in the first half with a left adductor strain. It's particularly poor timing for the Louisiana native.

Golden State was already without Klay Thomson and Willie Cauley-Stein, and Kevon Looney didn't join the team for the current road trip. The Dubs really can't afford to lose another rotation player, so fingers crossed Evans' injury isn't serious.

Despite playing shorthanded, the Warriors went into halftime holding a 72-57 lead over New Orleans.
