MIAMI -- For the last two months, the Warriors have ventured through the season with a battered roster. As they start a five-game road trip, reinforcements seem to be on the way.
Kevon Looney -- who's been dealing undergoing a neuropathy -- may rejoin the team Monday when the Dubs face the Hawks.
"We're hopeful for [Monday's game] Atlanta," Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Friday afternoon. "But we'll see."
Additionally, guard Jacob Evans - who strained his adductor last month -- participated in the team's shootaround in Miami on Friday morning and is expected to practice with the team Saturday afternoon before the team flies to Orlando.
While Evans is on track with his initial recovery timetable, Looney's return has been more complicated. After missing the preseason with a hamstring injury, he left a season-opening loss to the Clippers with a neuropathic condition.
Last week, Looney had a brief stint with the Warriors' G-League affiliate in Santa Cruz, before practicing with Golden State in San Francisco during the team's two-game homestand this week.

Looney's return comes as the roster is beginning to regain its health. Guard D'Angelo Russell -- who joined the team on the current trip -- is expected to have his thumb re-evaluated Saturday.
