Warriors' Willie Cauley-Stein's Tattoos Serve as Meaningful Reminders

Willie Cauley-Stein has a lot of tattoos. Maybe too many to count. But for the Warriors' big man, they all have meaning.

"[They are] something I need to look at every day to remind me of what I'm trying to accomplish," Cauley-Stein explained to NBC Sports Bay Area.

Cauley-Stein admits he doesn't have a favorite, but some have more significance than others. For instance, the two 'Xs' above his left eye were dedicated to a friend that recently died.

"Every time I look in the mirror, that's literally driving me to accomplish what we set out to do," he said.

The 26-year-old also has a tattoo on his inner forearm that says, "The greatest pleasure in life is doing what others say you cannot do."

"I got that in high school," Cauley-Stein said, "and it has literally helped me out through the most trying times of my life."

Moving forward, Cauley-Stein has no plans to slow down. He intends to finish the art on his back and to "piece together his legs," where he thinks he'll get his next one.

Surely, those will have meaning, too.
