The Warriors have a rich history, and on Wednesday, they broke out new jerseys to celebrate one of the best teams the franchise has ever seen.
With the 1974-75 NBA championship team in the building, the current Warriors took the court against the Wizards wearing bright yellow "Classic" jerseys.
That 1975 squad was the third team in Warriors history to win the NBA title, but the first since the franchise moved west from Philadelphia. When the Warriors won the NBA title in 2015, it was the first championship for the franchise in 40 years.
To honor the 1975 team, the Warriors handed out replica rings to all fans in attendance at Oracle Arena.
