Watch A's Fans Show Out in McCovey Cove for Series Opener Vs. Giants

The Bay Bridge Series is underway at Oracle Park in San Francisco, so the A's tried to make McCovey Cove their own.

For the third straight year, A's president Dave Kaval led an Oakland contingent into the iconic waterfront of the Giants' home ballpark. Kaval told NBC Sports California broadcasters Glen Kuiper and Dallas Braden that a "flotilla" of "10 to 14" boats made the trip from the East Bay, including some boats from Oakland's police and fire departments.

While Kaval said Giants fans were courteous to their newfound neighbors, the A's contingent put their own stamp on the proceedings. They launched some green and gold t-shirts right into the heart of enemy territory.

Hey, Willie McCovey did play for the A's, after all.
