Watch A's Prize Patrol Surprise Lucky Fan Elizabeth S. With $5,000

The A's are rooted in Oakland, and it's that mentality that has drawn fan Elizabeth S. to the team.

On Saturday night, Elizabeth became the fourth and final winner of the A's Prize Patrol contest, winning $5,000 after watching Friday's broadcast of A's-Tigers and filling out this form with a secret code. She was one of five randomly selected viewers asked to write 50 words on why they love the Green and Gold.

"'Let's go OAK-land!'" Elizabeth wrote. "I love the A's because of the passion, dedication and camaraderie with which they play the game.  The team represents the spirit of Oakland, and I truly believe they are lifted up by the support of loyal fans like me."

The A's matched Elizabeth's prize and donated $5,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Oakland.

A's In-Stadium host Kara Tsuboi, mascot Stomper, A's Prize Patrol and NBC Sports California surprised Elizabeth at her home in the East Bay on Saturday night.

The A's Prize Patrol previously surprised Natalie B., Jason M., and Rich B. with $5,000.

The A's Prize Patrol was created as a way for the team and NBC Sports California to reward fans for tuning in to A's broadcasts. Watch the A's to win and support your community.
