One Los Angeles Dodgers fan had a rough night at Oracle Park on Wednesday, and it had nothing to do with the results on the field.
During the Giants' series finale with the Dodgers, said fan paid a high price to pick up a foul ball in the stands during the second inning: He dropped his garlic fries ... and his hot dog.
It's a shame what happened to that Dodgers fan 🙃 pic.twitter.com/G5ETVrfkGL— SF Giants on NBCS (@NBCSGiants) May 2, 2019
The Dodger fan added apparent injury to insult later in the game. This time, he appeared to have a slice of pizza in tow -- surely to replace the first meal he lost -- when he tried to gather another foul ball off the bounce.
This time, he didn't even get a foul ball for his efforts.

Buying garlic fries, a hot dog and a slice of pizza carries a hefty price tag. But getting one foul ball and being in the right position to grab another? That's a priceless memory, even if the Dodger fan's stomach (and his wallet) preferred the alternative.
Maybe free food is the solution to stopping foul-ball hawks we've been looking for this whole time?
