Shaun Anderson had a grand total of zero hits this season in Triple-A for the Sacramento River Cats. But he wasted no time getting his first career hit as a big leaguer.
The Giants' top pitching prospect hammered a double off the right-center field wall at Oracle Park on Wednesday in his first MLB at-bat. Anderson's first career hit came off an Edwin Jackson fastball, who made MLB history in the game by pitching for his 14th team.

Anderson, 24, couldn't have hit this one any harder. The double had an exit velocity of 109 miles per hour.

Coming into his MLB debut, he was 0-for-4 at the plate this season in Triple-A. In 35 career minor league at-bats, Anderson has four hits, good for a .114 batting average.

The rookie kept swinging and hit a single to left field in his second at-bat.
And now he's casually batting 1.000 in the bigs. Not bad.
