When Talking About His Improved 3-point Shot, Iguodala Asks ‘why Don't You Believe Me?'

Back on January 10, Andre Iguodala was asked about his 3-point shooting.

"I just suck," he told reporters.

Iguodala shot 22.9 percent from deep through the All-Star break.

Since then, he's 50 percent (13-for-26).

So how does his shot feel now?

"Same as it always felt. I know you want me to say something else," Iguodala said to the media after shootaround on Tuesday. "Same, same, same, same, same, same. Same. I'm telling you man -- why don't you believe me?

"Sometimes you got shots that feel better that miss; then (shots) that don't feel good that go in. You can ask Steph and Klay that, and they're real shooters."

Iguodala has been a different player over the last month.

Over his last 12 games, he's averaging 8.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists, while shooting over 58 percent from the field.

He went 4-for-5 from 3-point range vs the Jazz on Sunday.

"I know what it's supposed to feel like, regardless if it goes in. As long as I got the rhythm and the right time of the year -- I'm good."

Iguodala then had some fun when asked about his 3-point percentage.

"I've been shooting full-court shots. I got like eight of 'em on the year. And I don't shoot that many 3s. So 30-for-100 vs 38-for-100 is a huge difference to ya'll. Feel me?

"They've been going in, but I've been shooting it the same (laughing)."

The 2015 Finals MVP did some embellishing, because according to NBA.com, Iguodala is 0-for-4 (not 0-for-8) on shots from 40+ feet.

Not that anybody is checking on these things, though...
