Why Warriors Could Worry About Referee Officiating NBA Finals Game 6

As the Warriors fight to see another day, they can't be too happy with who will be officiating Thursday night's Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

Marc Davis, David Guthrie, John Goble, and Eric Lewis will make up the crew on the court in the final game being played at Oracle Arena. That first name should worry Warriors fans.

But not Raptors fans.

The Raptors are 9-0 in games Davis has officiated this season, including three wins in the playoffs. The Warriors, on the other hand, are only 3-5.

The last time Davis officiated a Warriors game was their Game 3 loss to the Raptors. While the Warriors wound up shooting more free throws in their loss, the referees -- led by Davis -- grabbed far too big of a spotlight

Between missing calls that should have been goaltending on Raptors big man Serge Ibaka and a flurry of questionale calls against both teams, the first half of Game 3 turned into quite the ref show. Fans on each side can only hope that doesn't happen in Game 6.

As always, Warriors forward Draymond Green will have to be on his toes with the referees. Green picked up his sixth technical foul in the playoffs during the Warriors' win in Game 5, and is now only one away from an automatic suspension

With possibly two games to go for a three-peat, Draymond and the rest of the Warriors will have to block out their past with Davis to keep their season alive.
