With the 2019 NBA Draft now complete, it's time to turn our attention to free agency (who are we kidding, the focus has been on free agency for nine months now).
The clear priority for the Warriors will be re-signing Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Kevon Looney. But even if Klay and KD were to return, their rehabilitation from their respective devastating injuries will keep them out for most -- if not all -- of the year. So the Warriors will look outside their organization to add talent.
There will be heavy focus and speculation on the Warriors pursuing free agents like Rudy Gay, Wes Matthews, Seth Curry, Rodney Hood, JJ Redick and Austin Rivers. The fit is obvious for most of those players, and it will be up to the Warriors to convince one of them to take less money and sign on the mid-level exception.
