On Monday, the A's traded Sonny Gray to the Yankees.
On Tuesday afternoon, Gray took to Twitter.
First, he issued a message to A's fans:

Oakland selected Gray with the 18th overall pick in the 2011 draft.
He made his big-league debut on July 10, 2013.
The 27-year old went 14-7 with a 2.73 ERA in 2015, was an All-Star and finished third in the AL Cy Young voting.
Gray is 6-5 with a 3.43 ERA through 16 starts this year.
The A's and Yankees do not play each other again this season...
