Amazon Grocery Delivery Service Goes Live in SF

Grocery delivery service to be unveiled in San Francisco

The competition for home delivery of all goods -- including groceries -- is heating up, with Amazon's service slated to go live next week, according to reports.

AmazonFresh "seems set to launch in San Francisco," according to AllThingsD, which cited sightings of food delivery trucks as well as job postings.

Seems like a solid lead.

AmazonFresh is currently live in Seattle and in Los Angeles. Members pay $300 a month to have eggs and milk arrive on their doorsteps, the San Francisco Business Journal reported.
