CES: 3D Printing Now Kitchen Ready

The 3D printing business is proving it's about more than just plastic things.

3D Systems CEO Avi Reichental showed off a futuristic kitchen, complete with food, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The kitchen Reichental showcased was made on a 3D printer.

And it tastes good.

Reichental said the kitchen-ready 3D printer prints in flavors, colors, sugars and chocolates.

NBC Bay Area's Scott Budman has more and shows how 3D printing is going mainstream in the video above.
