A Berwyn man accused of posting naked photos of his ex-girlfriend to Facebook and threatening to post more was charged with domestic harassment through electronic communication, police said.

Raul Martinez, 24, of the 2300 block of South Home Avenue was arrested Sunday after his 21-year-old ex-girlfriend took the matter to police.

She told officers Martinez had posted the photos on a public Facebook page and then sent her numerous text messages saying he would keep posting if she didn't meet him in person about repairing their relationship, police said.

Police said Martinez even texted the woman while she was at the police department.

"The victim immediately reported it to the police and we were able to take the offender into custody on the same day as the crime was reported to police," Police Chief Thomas Weitzel said.

Weitzel said investigators found physical evidence that the photos were posted and available to the public, and police arrested him without incident.
