Strange Bedfellows: Google and Amazon Cozy Up

While Google is busy trying to rip a page out of Amazon's reader, the online bookstore announced it is getting in bed with the tech giant.

Amazon.com is opening up its electronic book store for other companies to try and make some money off of it.

Ironically the store will be powered by Google, who announced a digital bookstore of its own Monday.

The Kindle-maker will allow potentially hundreds of merchants to sell books on its app that will launch early next year. For each sale, the merchant and Amazon will share a stake of the price.
