Team CoCo Turns to YouTube to Announce His New Show

There's Madonna, Oprah and now there's "Conan."

The late night funnyman turned to the San Bruno-based YouTube to announce the name of his new show Wednesday.

Conan O'Brien took the simple approach Wednesday in announcing his TBS show will simply be called "Conan."

"Conan" will kick off Nov. 8. Coming up with the name was an arduous process, according to O'Brien.

"I've spent millions of dollars, I've had media research companies, and we've had people working around the clock," he said.

He posted a YouTube video announcing the show's name to his fans. He scrawled the name on a white sheet of paper using a black marking pen.

"I've still got the beard and now a pretty crappy office." he said to introduce himself to his fans.

O'Brien has finished a comedy concert tour. He was nominated for an Emmy Award for his short-lived stint as NBC "Tonight" show host that ended amid much drama in January, but lost to Jon Stewart and Comedy Central's "The Daily Show."
