These are fine times for Twitter, with its beautiful new office space in San Francisco's mid-Market and its market-breaking IPO -- and now it's time for a holiday party.
In the very same San Francisco City Hall which provided the company a tax break.
Twitter on Thursday rented out the Beaux Arts gem of a domed building for its Christmas party, according to documentation of the gala recorded on -- what else -- Twitter.

A lovely time for lovely people -- but perhaps a bit "tone deaf," some have suggested.
Or, as SFist put it, "There's certainly nothing tone deaf about a company that received millions in tax breaks buying out the city's center of power for a one-off night of champagne drinking."
Right? Right.
