Uber is testing out a color-based service where passengers and drivers can identify each other more clearly.
It can be dangerous to jump into a car thinking it is your Uber ride, and likewise it can be terrifying when you don't drive for Uber and someone gets into your car thinking that you do.
According to CNET, Uber hopes to clear up potential situations like that by testing out a color-coding device called Spot here a rider selects a colored light that their Uber driver will display when they arrive.
The bad news? Right now, it's only being tried out in Seattle.
