If you're anything like me, you wonder what your shoes look like as you text while walking. Well good news, because now there's an app that connects texting with your iPhone's camera.
The app maker, GP Imports, markets the app as a way of safely texting while walking (but not, wink wink, while driving). The 99-cent app, called On the Go SMS, can only show you the limited view of your iPhone's lens, putting what it sees as the background of the screen.
For example, in the pavement image here, the texter would have been very grateful if the manhole cover had been missing. But beyond being a warning and shoe-surveillance solution, what's this app good for? To quote GP: "You can also use the camera to take pictures, just in case you find something interesting during your texting experience."
