Giants Fans: Take Your Team to the Grave

Casket maker offers Giants caskets, urns

12 Ways to Effortlessly Surprise Your Friends and Co-Workers

If you live and die San Francisco Giants baseball, then a Colma resting vault company has something you're dying to see.

The "all things San Francisco" wiseacres over at SFist.combring our attention to a new line of products from the Christy Vault Company in Colma. The Christy Vault, makers of fine burial vaults and urns for the discriminating eternal rester, now offers a line of San Francisco Giants caskets and cremation urns. Giants fans can now express their undying devotion to the ball club by being buried in full San Francisco regalia and trim.

No jokes about the Giants' batting averages, please.

The caskets are designed with numerous Giants logos and black and orange decorative trim, team colors on the pillow and blankets inside the vault, and a large Giants team logo inside for the deceased to face staring at for the rest of eternity.

The urns are mounted on a faux home plate, and an actual baseball is embedded on the lid. Urns come, of course, in team colors. Loved ones are even allowed to embed their own personal, keepsake baseballs on the lid.

For the non-Giants fan, the Christy Vault also offers burial vaults for several other Major League Baseball teams. That includes a Dodgers casket that you wouldn't be caught dead in.
