Hong Kong-based startup Pixelist will for $150 and up give you an oil painting of your favorite Instagram, thanks to a "connection" with a "Chinese artist community in Xiamen, China," according to PandoDaily.
Artists pumping out paintings at record rates are nothing new in China, according to reports: Shenzen, where many of the world's iPhones and iPads are made, also produces about 60 percent of the world's oil paintings.
