25th Anniversary of California Coastal Cleanup Day at Ocean Beach and Fulton on September 19, 2009

The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy is the non-profit partner of the Golden Gate National Parks. In a collaborative effort with the Presidio Trust and National Park Service, the Parks Conservancy hosts volunteer programs and events throughout the Golden Gate National Parks. California Coastal Cleanup Day is one of the nation's premier volunteer events dedicated to the marine environment. Since the program started in 1985, over 800,000 Californians have removed more than 13 million pounds of debris from the state's shorelines and coast.

Attire: Closed Toed Shoes-no sandals. Dress in layers for changing weather
Items to Bring: BYOB (bring your own bag or bucket) - in an effort to conserve bags and limit waste, we are asking volunteers to bring their own bags or buckets. We will also have bags and supplies available.
