The Walnut Creek Library Foundation is helping to coordinate volunteers at the new Walnut Creek Library, over one hundred volunteers are needed to work as greeters. Two hour shifts will begin at 10AM-6PM Monday-Thursday and 10AM-4PM Friday -Saturday. Greeters are responsible for welcoming visitors, handing out programs, answering basic questions and referring more detailed inquiries to the librarian.
