Local Winemaker will be Next ‘Bachelor'

Good news for him and for Sonoma County.

"The Bachelorette" reject Ben Flajnik isn't letting a little thing like harvest time get in the way of his search for love.

Flajnik has agreed to be the next contestant on "The Bachelor".

The 28-year-old Sonoma County winemaker recently told the San Francisco Chronicle, "If I were to do the next Bachelor...it's a lot to ponder. We would shoot during harvest time. We've just hired on another friend at the winery. We'll see."

Apparently it did not take long to make a decision.

Flajnik is the most recent reject from the Bachelorette. He captured viewer's hearts when Ashley Herbert dumped him in the season finale.

Now it's his turn to choose.

Flajnik's search for love is good news for Sonoma County. Tourism promoters are already working with the show's producers to suggest filming locations for next season. Among the suggestions, some small Sonoma Valley towns, the redwoods and of course, the coast.
