National Public Lands Day at Crissy Field on September 26, 2009

The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy is the non-profit partner of the Golden Gate National Parks. In a collaborative effort with the Presidio Trust and National Park Service, the Parks Conservancy hosts volunteer programs and events throughout the Golden Gate National Parks. Help us celebrate our community and our public lands by volunteering in your cherished national parklands next door. We'll have a handful of project options to suit different interests and abilities, including habitat restoration, vegetation management, and grounds and trail maintenance. After the work day, we will have a Lunch and sneak previews of The National Parks: America's Best Idea, as well as the film's companion piece "This is America," at Crissy Field Center.
