Newest Raiderette a Grandmother

    Better Sleep = Better Grades
Susie Sanchez is a Raiderette -- and a grandmother.

The Raiderettes have a new addition people all over the country are talking about.

Rookie Raiderette Susie Sanchez is from Hollister, but what makes her so special is she is a grandmother.

The 37-year-old mother of three became a grandmother in January.

The Raiders say Susie tried out for the Raiderettes four times before finally making the squad.

She is not the first granny to become a Raiderette. That honor belongs to a woman who made the squad in 2003.

Sanchez is not even the oldest cheerleader in the NFL. The Bengals have a 42-year-old woman on their squad.
