Santa Clara County is offering a new program that keeps you in the loop whenever an emergency happens in your neighborhood. The Alert SCC system will send emergency warnings directly to your cell phone, mobile device, email or landline.

You'll get information on floods, wildfires, evacuations, public safety incidents and post-disaster information about shelters, transportation and supplies.

You can sign up for the mass notification system by texting "Alert SCC" to 32075 along with your street name and zip code. You can also apply on the Alert SCC website.
