The City of Santa Rosa has begun a “Park-A-Month” Project through its newly created Volunteer Santa Rosa Program. Each month’s project will involve weeding, raking the sand play area, and clearing exotic plants from the creek banks. All necessary tools will be provided through a newly acquired trailer that will be moved to different park sites each month.If you are interested in volunteering from 9:00 to noon, or if you would like to see a park near you benefit from this type of project please respond. Families and groups are welcome.
