Rebuilding Together Oakland builds volunteer partnerships to rehabilitate homes and community facilities for low-income homeowners and neighbors — seniors, disabled, or families — so they can live independently in warmth and safety.

Age restrictions: Must be 18 years old or older
Type of work: The scope of work varies from site to site, typically general volunteers can expect to work on clean-up, painting and landscaping. Often we have fence building and minor carpentry projects
Recommended attire: RTO provides t-shirts which volunteers are required to wear. Closed toe shoes, long pants recommended.
Items to bring: All tools are provided for general volunteers

Parking Available: Street parking. For many locations, carpooling is recommended.
