San Francisco Bay would not exist as the beautiful natural treasure it is today without Save The Bay. This year, we celebrate 50 years of halting massive bay fill and dumping, restoring wetlands and engaging the community to save the Bay. Did you know that even the prettiest of flowers could be an invasive species? Do you know the best way to remove radish or fennel? Our field educators are weed experts and after a day with Save The Bay, you will be too. Join Save The Bay as we remove invasives at the Eden Landing salt ponds. Volunteers will be part of the largest tidal wetland restoration project on the West Coast and learn all about the fascinating world of weeds.

Attire: Expect to get dirty! Be prepared to be outdoors for the duration of the project. Dress in layers, bring a hat, sunscreen and wear close-toed shoes to protect your feet. Long pants are recommended, but not required. Please also bring your own water bottle and help us cut down on plastic
