Volunteer at the Bird Rescue Center in Sonoma County-Orientation begins in April

During the past quarter century The Bird Rescue Center has been making a real difference in the lives of both birds and people. The accomplishments of the Center have been possible through generous volunteer donations of time, money, materials and effort. Countless birds have been rescued, rehabilitated and released back into the wild.Scores of children and adults have been introduced to our Educational Ambassadors and have learned to care about birds and the environment they depend on.

If you would like to be part of this unique hands-on experience with wild birds we invite you to get involved. Both adults and juniors (12 and up) will find a role they can play. We provide training for most of the volunteer jobs at the Center. Come talk to us at the Center during our public Visitor Days or watch for the dates for our orientation sessions. Come join us – we’d love to see you.

Whether you are rescuing a hawk or humming bird, waterbird or songbird there is plenty for you to do at the center!
