Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley builds volunteer partnerships to rehabilitate homes and community facilities for low-income homeowners and neighbors — seniors, disabled, or families — so they can live independently in warmth and safety.

Time: 8:00 AM to 5:00PM
Max number of volunteers: 250
Age restrictions: Must be 16 years old or older
Type of work: You will be assigned a project based on the needs of our clients and your experience and skills. We will provide more information about your work site once we have assigned you to a project. Filling out the volunteer application (link is below) will help us best match you at a site.
Recommended attire: Old clothes that you can get dirty or paint in. You will receive a t-shirt at the site to wear and take home.
Items to bring: Tools that are helpful but not necessary: Hammers, Brooms, Hand tools and saws, Small ladders, Work and rubber gloves, Shovels, rakes, other yard tools, Goggles, Etc…
Meals provided: We will provide pizza for lunch with fruit, cookies, water and soda. You may bring other snacks.
Beverages provided: Yes
Rain contingencies: TBD
Parking Available: Limited parking in and around the work sites. Carpooling is recommended.
