Celebrate African American history month with the NAACP San Jose/Silicon Valley Chapter at the third annual African American history month flag raising. The purpose of the event is to mark the month celebration by raising the Black Liberation Flag, which will officially fly over the city for one full week. City Council member Ash Kalra and NAACP President Rev. Jethro Moore will speak prior to the flag raising. After the ceremony, a reception will be held inside the Rotunda.
