9/11 Community Remembrance

This year’s Community Remembrance of September 11, organized by the Exchange Club, is happening at Oak Hill Park in Danville. This year’s keynote speaker is FBI special agent John F. Bennett, who watched the attack happen first hand from the FBI building across the street from the World Trade Center. Daville’s 9/11 Memorial Service will also include 150 scouts, the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Honor Guard, the Monte Vista choir, heads of the police and fire departments, a Pearl Harbor survivor, and several World War II survivors. Arrive early to grab a seat.
