Asian Americans for Community Involvement and Microsoft are hosting their Annual Run for Wellness. The event will feature three different races, a 10K run, a 5K run/walk, and a kids' mile run. Awards will be given in age categories and top 3 male and female finishers as well as kids’ mile ages 6-8 and kids’ mile ages 9-12 categories. Goodie bags and free refreshments for all participants. The event will also feature Pre and Post race activities, which include free refreshments, kids' activities, and informational and vendor booths. NBC Bay Area's Rob Mayeda will be on hand to emcee the event.
AACI believes that everyone has a right to pursue their dreams, and they are there to help. Proceeds from the Run for Wellness will go towards AACI's youth programs, where they help young people get through the challenges they face and realize their dreams one step at a time.
