The African American Community Service Agency (AACSA) and Joyner Payne Youth Service Agency presents the 37th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Luncheon on Monday, January 16, 2017. This special event will take place at Holiday Inn San Jose at 10:00 am for Vendor Display and 12:00 noon for the Luncheon.
The luncheon’s Keynote Speaker will be Rev. Dereca Blackmon, a consultant, facilitator, and spiritual activist with over 25 years of experience supporting communities in radical healing and strategic development. Mistress of Ceremonies is Mrs. Kari Hall, NBC Bay Area meteorologist for the morning newscast Today in the Bay. Ms. Queen Ann Cannon is this year’s Lifetime Achievement Awardee.
