It's that time of year again where you can make a difference by helping animals find their fourever homes. We hope you'll join us for our annual Clear the Shelters pet adoption event on Saturday, Aug. 17, taking place in several cities around the Bay Area.
NBC Bay Area / KNTV and Telemundo 48 Area de la Bahia / KSTS are teaming up for the stations' fifth annual initiative that will include the participation of dozens of local animal shelters and rescues from the Bay Area.
Animal shelters and rescues will offer low cost or waived pet adoption fees to help families adopt a new pet on Saturday, Aug. 17. For more information about Clear the Shelters, please click here.
