Family Giving Tree is back with their annual Back to School Backpack Drive. They are looking for donations of backpacks, various school supplies, or monetary to help support children in need of assistance. Last year, the drive helped over 26,000 children from 190 school and agencies throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
Family Giving Tree is also currently looking for volunteers for the new warehouse facility that they were granted use of by Barry Swenson Builders. The volunteers will process the backpack and school supplies for pick up by the various participating schools and agencies.
When: June 3 to August 1, 2014 (Donations)
July 15 to August 31, 2014 (Volunteers Needed)
Where: Various locations throughout the Bay Area
