The USS Hornet Sea, Air & Space Museum welcomes you to join them in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing mission. It is an eight-day celebration to commemorate the Apollo 11 eight-day mission and will include special activities and programs that surround the main Splashdown 50 celebratory event on Saturday, July 20.
Spend the night on Friday as you explore the history on the decks of the famous aircraft carrier as you walk amongst the footsteps of heroes and astronauts that recovered Apollo 11. This program includes an evening tour, dinner, breakfast, late-night star gazing, and more. Your stay will include admission to the next-day’s Splashdown 50 celebration. All age ranges are welcome.
