Sunday Friend's 7th Annual Holiday Shopping Spree

Sunday Friends, “The Working Alternative to Charity,” brings back their 7th annual Holiday Shopping Spree for a two-day gift raising event in the Silicon Valley on November 14th and 21st from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. The Holiday Shopping Spree is a charity event where individuals or small groups can donate from $10-$100 at the Cupertino Target, which is then pooled and divided among shopping teams who are given a shopping mission to buy baby toys, little boys and girls items, gifts for teens, moms, and dads, and warmth items. Prizes are awarded to the team who finds the Best Bargain, Most Creative, and Most Adorable items.

The Holiday Shopping Spree makes it possible for low income families to experience a meaningful and memorable holiday of giving to their loved ones. Adults and children earn, pick, wrap, and present the gifts purchased during the shopping spree. Participants “purchase” the gifts to present using tickets they’ve earned throughout the year by participating in classes projects benefitting their families, neighbors, and the community.
