It’s time to welcome home the Rio Olympians and Paralympians with a special Gala Dinner and Reception on Friday, October 7, 2016 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm! Join in on the fun as we welcome home the Northern California athletes and coaches of the 2016 Rio Olympic and Paralympic Games! The evening’s emcee will be NBC Bay Area Emmy winning news anchor Raj Mathai! The Welcome Home Dinner provides all of us the opportunity to salute these hometown heroes and a chance to honor athletes who have competed.
The proceeds of this event will benefit the Northern California Olympians (NCOPA), an organization of Olympians & Paralympians from past and present teams who live and work in Northern California. The NCOPA offers fellowship to members of past and present Olympic & Paralympic teams, coordinates Olympian appearances at schools, community, and corporate events, maintains an athlete training and provide travel grant program to support the active visible nationwide Olympian organization.
