Sports Day for Kids is a free event hosted by Wipeout Cancer for kids living with cancer and their families to participate in team sports that they may not be able to with their existing treatment and care regimes.
Wipeout Cancer's inaugural event co-hosted with Cancer CAREpoint will be on February 27, 2016 with the SJSU Football Team at Spartan Stadium. Each participant will engage in a meet and greet, pair with a football player and rotate through different skills stations and activities with a chance to re-cap the fun at the end with snacks.
The program is open to kids 8-17-years-old living with cancer and their immediate families.
