Thunderstorms in the North Bay brought rain, hail and lightning strikes Tuesday, one which sparked a tree fire in Glen Ellen in Sonoma County. Firefighters said the hail stopped the flames from spreading.

Pea-sized hail was spotted in some pockets of the North Bay on Monday from a storm that’s moving through the region, forecasters said.

A chilly storm system delivered a little bit of everything to the Bay Area Tuesday, including hail in the South Bay and East Bay and snow on Mount Hamilton.

Thousands were without power Monday morning in the Sooner state after storms hit the area.
