    USA's Biney Eliminated in Short Track 500M Quarterfinals

    American teenager Maame Biney, an Olympic rookie at 18, finished last in her short track speedskating quarterfinal of the women’s 500 meters Tuesday, missing out on a final that turned into a waiting game. That result was a photo finish after Italian Arianna Fontana barely edged out hometown hero Choi Min-jeong.

    Women's Speedskating: US Games Done, Korea Wins 3000m Relay

    American women’s hopes of winning a medal in speedskating at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games are over after Jessica Kooreman and Lana Gehring failed to qualify in the 1000m short track event Tuesday.
    Tuesday also saw a wild, penalty-filled finish in the women’s 3,000-meter short-track relay final, with South Korea taking gold.
