The UK variant of the virus behind COVID-19 could be the dominant strain in the United States by March, and because it transmits more easily, daily case totals could spike again in the spring. Sergio Quintana reports.

The new strain of COVID-19 in the U.K. has found its way very close to the U.S. – in Canada. On Saturday, health officers in LA County investigated whether it might have shown up there too. Roz Plater reports.
