The Bay Area Toll Authority said it’s getting rid of toll booths to ease traffic on local bridges.

All eastbound lanes of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge reopened Sunday morning following a multi-vehicle crash and police shooting investigation that closed all Oakland-bound lanes of traffic for several hours, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The number of people younger than 25 who are coming to the Golden Gate Bridge to commit suicide has increased five-fold in the past 14 years, and Bridge District officials are announcing a plan to reach them.
