Eater Inside: Heaven's Dog

SoMa: Here we have a tour of the latest creation by the inimitable Charles Phan, Heaven's Dog. Like the Slanted Door, it was designed by Olle Lundberg, but unlike the Ferry Building hit, Heaven's Dog is Phan's first venture into Chinese cuisine. The main space, on the ground level of the SoMa Grand, is portioned off into several spaces: a bar that runs the length of the room, a dining area, a private room, a lounge area next to the entrance, and of course, the self-contained noodle shop off to the side. Bonus: as of this week, Heaven's Dog is open for lunch too. Further reading on Heaven's Dog can be in the Eater Archives.
