VIDEO: Look and Touch at This Auto Show

No sales pressure to buy at this gigantic event in downtown San Jose.

The 2011 Silicon Valley International Auto Show will bring thousands of people to downtown San Jose this weekend.  The show opens Thursday and runs through Sunday at the McEnery Convention Center.

Many find car shows a non-threatening way to check out what's available without the sales pressure of a car lot.

Hundreds of vehicles will be on display that feature everything from built in WiFi to satellite television. And this year you can both look and touch the vehicles. The car show will offer test drives starting Friday for Ford, Chevy, GMC, and Buick models. There is a staging area outside the convention center or just follow the signs.

There are still plenty of look and don't touch items.  Those are the show stoppers. They include high-end exotics like the latest from Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Ferrari and Lotus.  If you have to ask the list price, you probably can't afford it.

The show tickets start at $5.
