We don't often plug coffee shop performances but this is not a normal coffee shop performance. Jazz vocalist Rebecca Griffin will sing her original songs along with covers of Radiohead and Jeff Buckley to one of our favorite cafes ever: Caffe Trieste. The fun begins tonight at 8 and while you're there, make sure to have an africano but don't bother asking for soy milk.
The Exploratorium is not just for kids. Every so often, the wonderful people behind the interactive museum turn the lights down and lock out the little kids for the big kids. Tonight the Exploratorium After Dark series continues with "Geometry Playground." Watch as the museum makes your horrid high school days come to life and show you the side of Geometry your teachers never bothered to teach you. The learning begins at 6 p.m. Be there or be square.
